On June 16, 2001, I attended the Ozzfest 2001 Tour which included many well-known bands such as: gODHEAD, Taproot, Union Underground, MuDvAyNe, Disturbed, Crazytown, Linkin Park, Papa Roach, Slipknot, and of course the headliners - Black Sabbath. It was a really fun day for everyone. While some bands where playing, I was standing right in between the second and third stages right by the barricade (something like a bike rack). The grassy area right there in between stages is where a lot of band members would stand around and talk to each other. I got pretty lucky and (being the big autograph buff that I am) used my "skills" (flattering, etc. lol) to get their attention and somehow get them to sign. Likewise to many people's opinion, most were not the typical stuck up bad ass metal freaks that they sometimes make themselves out to be. Most of that stuff is for publicity I think.
Anyways, here is a list of some autographs I was able to receive. Some include pics of me with them. I wish I could have gotten more, but we were standing in a really crammed together crowd.
